Shame on President Trump | 3 More COVID Control Tips

Trump COVID

Before digging into our list of tips on ideas that are less commonly discussed on how to suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus, we need to come down on President Trump.

It was just 17 days at the time of this writing that Trump downplayed the severity of the Corona Virus and dismissed it as a passing sickness.

Sources are now revealing that Trump, well known to be a germaphobe, is telling aides he fears coming into contact with the virus.

Thankfully, health officials in the U.S. have taken matters into their own hands and are taking many of the right steps to help get the disease under control – looks as though some officials have learned their lesson during the SARS crisis.

The country making the best choices right now, is Italy. Locking down the entire country might indeed be a very extreme move, but as the old saying goes – desperate times call for desperate measures.

It is our prediction that of the countries hardest hit by the crisis that Italy will come out the crisis faster by essentially strangling the virus by cutting out its channels.

Other Ways of Curbing the Spread
That Aren’t Talked About Enough

1. Get off Tinder – look, we all know how fun it can be to hook up with someone to take our minds off what’s going on around us right now, but it can actually make things worse.

All it takes is a cursory search on Reddit to find both men and women anonymously revealing they hook up with several partners per day with the app.

Some will even confess to NOT using protection when getting it on with someone they’d never met before. All the same, a condom will not protect you from the virus.

2. Stay away from restaurantswe’ve said this before, but we’ll say it again – restaurants are cesspools of bacteria and unsanitary nasties, Corona Virus or not.

We also sat to discuss why it is that Italy, Iran and Korea are some of the hardest hit nations and after a while, there was one parallel among these drastically different cultures that made perfect sense: all three cultures are very family oriented.

Italians, Iranians and Koreans commonly enjoy the company of their ENTIRE families; cousins, grandparents, in-laws and when they get together, they eat together and a lot of that food is shared by hand.

We think we’re right about this because the US presently has 1200 confirmed cases of COVID to Italy’s 12,000.

The U.S. has a 327 million to Italy’s 60 million.

So why the disparity?

Because Americans are more detached from one another than the three other cultures. We only gather with our entire extended families for occasions like Easter and Christmas, and when we do eat together, there is rarely communal food that people plunge their fingers into.

Practice Isolation – the NBA, NHL and other sports organizations are suspending their seasons and this should be your cue to avoid smaller gatherings that are personal to you, but surround you with people (like church).

If you feel dependent on people, this could actually be a good thing and help you build up a strong sense of independence.

Don’t Get Caught With Your Pants Down

You might have a decent stockpile, a few guns and maybe even a small garden.

Whatever the case, none of it will save you in a crisis without THIS.

Right now, there is just one way to still get it. And it will soon be gone as well.
